Pedestrian Struck & Killed By MTA Bus In Queens

A pedestrian was struck by an MTA bus in a crosswalk in front of Elmhurst Hospital in Queens on Wednesday night. The man was transported to Elmhurst Hospital and later pronounced dead there. The crosswalk where the man was struck at around 7:35pm was located at Broadway and 79th Street. According to an MTA spokeswoman the bus was a Q53.

Investigations by the MTA and the NYPD are ongoing.
